Paul grew up in the firehouse “he was a firehouse kid”, his dad was a past chief and firefighter as well at JTFD. Paul always wanted to be involved in helping others and especially following in the footsteps of his father. Paul has always put his life on the line for people who he knew he would never meet. He sacrificed time with his family and his own personal interests just as all the other firefighters do day in and day out. As a second generation firefighter Paul loved his job very much as his family supported him with every sacrifice he made for it.
Paul was a member of the Jefferson twp Fire Dept for 29 years and passed on August 20, 2013, its with heavy hearts that we are faced with this loss of a brother firefighter and a friend. During the services we had various companies around NJ come support the department and show the respect they too had for Paul and we would like to thank them for that, you made an already tough time mean something we wont forget and we appreciate keeping the true brotherhood alive.
Thank you. (photos taken by Gina Pierson)
