What a crazy year this has been so far. We all welcomed in 2020 with open arms some hoping for it to be better than last year. I think we are all ready for 2021! With the new normal for all of us, it has caused us here at JTFD #1 to make a lot of changes. We wear mask and safety glasses when at the building or in our trucks. We are keeping ourselves safe so we can be there when you need us. Our members have started to disinfect the carts at Acme once a week to help and try to keep our community healthy.

Seeing people smile in our community brings a little bit of happiness during this time of uncertainty. Our birthday stops have become a big hit and a great way to bring out those smiles. We have truly enjoyed the birthday stops and have at this point about 60 stops scheduled for this month. Due to the uncertainty of when people will be returning to work, JTFD1 will not be scheduling stops after May 1, 2020. After that time, we will reevaluate the situation, and decide what we can do regarding birthdays going forward. During this time, we have learned a few lessons and additional guidelines have been set by the federal, state, and local governments. We feel it’s necessary to go over some of the guidelines we need to adhere by in order to keep these events happening both as a Fire Company and a community. Please check out our website to read more on these guidelines. If you would like to schedule a birthday stop, please reach out to Lt. Don Dopiriak Jr. at ddopiriakjr.jtfd1@gmail.com . Email is the best way to reach him. We also ask that you reach out at least 24 hours in advance although more notice is best. Last Saturday it brought us great joy to see the smiles on the kids and adults faces when we brought around the Easter Bunny. If you haven’t smiled lately, then sites like 비트코인 카지노 is the perfect solution for you because it’s packed with surprises.

Sadly, last week we would have held our yearly flower sale. Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, we had to cancel. The flower sale is one of our main fundraisers during the year. We look forward to your support year in and year out. We know times are uncertain right now if you can donate, we greatly appreciate the support of our community. If you cannot find your envelope no problem, you can visit our website jtfd1.org and you can make a PayPal donation. Jefferson Township Fire Company #1 looks forward to continuing to serve you. Thank you so much for all the wonderful donations from our community. We have received masks, gloves, and so many other wonderful things. We cannot thank you enough for thinking of us at this time. Please Stay Home, Stay Safe and remember we are all in this together.
